Membership Categories & Eligibility Criteria
Provisional Membership
Provisional Membership is designed for newly established education consultancies and organizations seeking professional affiliation with AFEIC Pakistan while progressing toward full membership eligibility.
Applicants applying for Provisional Membership must provide the following:
- Company Registration Certificate
- Office Rent Agreement or Ownership Documents
- Business Profile and Contact Details
- Reference or Recommendation from at least one existing AFEIC member
Provisional members are expected to comply with the professional standards, code of ethics, and operational guidelines established by AFEIC Pakistan.
Full Membership
Full Membership is granted to organizations and consultants who successfully meet all membership requirements and demonstrate a strong professional standing within the overseas education industry.
Becoming a member of AFEIC Pakistan reflects credibility, professionalism, and recognition within the international education sector. AFEIC members represent a selected network of reputable education consultants and organizations operating in the foreign education consultancy industry with substantial industry experience and commitment to ethical practices.
AFEIC Pakistan conducts annual evaluations and membership renewals to ensure that all members continue to uphold the association’s standards, professional integrity, and ethical responsibilities.
Requirements for Full Membership
Applicants seeking Full Membership are required to submit the following documents:
- Company Registration Certificate
- NTN / Tax Registration Certificate or Tax Clearance Certificate
- Institutional Representation Certificates (minimum two international partner institutions from any country)
- Company Profile
- Board Resolution or Company Approval Letter for AFEIC Membership
- Memorandum and Articles of Association
- Owner / Director Profile
- References from at least two existing AFEIC members
Additionally:
- Directors and shareholders must maintain a professional reputation and should not be involved in activities that may negatively affect the image or integrity of the association.
- Membership applications are reviewed and approved by the Executive Committee of AFEIC Pakistan.

Suspension or Termination of Membership
AFEIC Pakistan reserves the right to suspend or terminate the membership of any member organization found involved in activities contrary to the association’s professional standards, ethics, or regulations.
Membership may be suspended or terminated in cases including, but not limited to:
- Misleading or deceiving students through unethical practices
- Providing false, inaccurate, or fraudulent information
- Violation of AFEIC’s Code of Ethics or Professional Conduct
- Violation of advertising and promotional guidelines established by AFEIC
- Failure to renew membership within the prescribed timeline
- Long-term inactivity, office closure, or discontinuation of overseas student recruitment operations
- Conduct resulting in reputational harm to AFEIC Pakistan or the overseas education industry
- Failure to cooperate in dispute resolution matters involving students, institutions, or member organizations

All members of AFEIC Pakistan are required to comply with the association’s Code of Conduct and maintain the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.
Members shall:
- Conduct their business honestly, professionally, and responsibly
- Act in the best interests of students, parents, and partner institutions at all times
- Provide accurate, current, and transparent information regarding study opportunities, immigration regulations, and institutional partnerships
- Maintain ethical business relationships through written agreements and professional communication
- Avoid any misleading, unfair, or deceptive advertising practices
- Refrain from actions that may damage the reputation or interests of other members or institutions
- Promote fair competition and mutual respect within the industry
- Contribute positively toward the development and advancement of the overseas education sector
- Comply with all policies, regulations, and professional standards established by AFEIC Pakistan
